鐵氧體磁體是一種具有鐵磁性的金屬氧化物,由三氧化二鐵和一種或幾種其他金屬氧化物配製燒結而成。就電特性來說,鐵氧體的電阻率比金屬、合金磁性材料大得多,而且還有較高的介電性能。鐵氧體的磁性能還表現在高頻時,具有較高的磁導率。鐵氧體混合物成本便宜,抗腐蝕能力優良,磁性能穩定,不易退磁。
A ferrite is a ceramic material made by mixing and firing large proportions iron(III) oxide (Fe2O3, rust) blended with small proportions of one or more additional metallic elements, such as barium, manganese, nickel, and zinc. Comparing with alloys and metals, the electrical resistivity of ferrite is much higher and and its dielectricity is higher. Ferrite provides high magnetic permeability in high frequency. Being made of mostly rusted iron (iron oxide), the cost of Ferrite compounds is low, and also have excellent corrosion resistance. They are very stable and difficult to demagnetize, and can be made with both high and low coercive forces.
